Introduction

Hello! I know that it must be surprising to see a brand new forum category popping up out of nowhere within this lovely Group Support forum. When I was a kid growing up on 7cups, this section was named "Group Mod Zone", but that was back in 2015 and a lot has changed, from welcoming the role of Room Supporters, to embracing Community Centered moderating as well as Global Moderation. Group Support is simply not just a spot for mods anymore. This is a spot for those who have taken part in leadership in the Group Support Rooms and I am super excited to see so many faces taking part in making the Group Support rooms what they are.

A Little About Me-

My name is Eli. I have been on 7cups since 2015 and have been active in about every area of the site you may imagine. I started as a Peer Support and worked my way up from there to moderating and mentoring. I have always had a great love for the leadership aspect of cups and am sincerely excited to be taking on this new role overseeing communications for Group Support. In this role I will be actively hosting meetings for leaders in group support and encouraging others in their roles. Eventually I plan to help rebuild the Mod Buddy team , and have one for Room Supporters as well.
