Working out
Hi! I'm new here and I don't know if this is the right category to write this but I need help making working out a hobby! I usually don't care about working out but in times where I have to find new clothes or have to look nice going somewhere, I just start feeling bad about my body. I'm not overweight but I am out of shape and I know looks don't matter but I just want to do this for myself, to feel more confident. The problem that I have is that I do not have the motivation to do so and also I have a hard time coming up with a meal plan because I'm the type of person that likes to snack haha. I am not that bad but when I am really hungry I just grab whatever we have at the house like chips, sweets, etc. I love salty food and it's so bad. I'm glad to say I am not too bad on this but it is something I know I need to cut back on. Sorry, I just would love to hear some of your healthy tips!

Hi Hand4u, I can relate with your situation. Starting a new habit can be little difficult for anyone.
I feel if we try to give it a purpose like being fit & healthy, or like participating in some marathons or cycling events it can motivate us little more. Another suggestion will be looking for partner for workouts can also helps us get going & there can be little competition as well. Also trying different workouts to find out which one interest us more like for example running, Yoga, weight training, Zumba, swimming can help us.
I also feel both workout & food goes hand in hand. So once we get into the habit of working out we automatically start controlling few things or we tend to compensate for our cheat meals with extra workouts.
I personally enjoy weight training but I also like running. I have participated in few half marathon in last 3 years. So I feel you will also soon start enjoying workouts.
Here we also have one self help guide on exercise motivation (https://www.7cups.com/how-to-get-motivated-to-exercise/), which you can go through.
Take care
