Hello everyone! I wanted to share two mug cake recipes that have saved me from baking disasters countless times. They're quick, they're easy, they're highly customable, and awesome to follow and get both teenies and oldies to bake a delicious treat!

The moistiest chocolate mug cake. Recipe here.

The moistiest vanilla mug cake. Recipe here.

Discuss tips and tricks below! For example, the nutella spread in the chocolate cake isn't mandatory. smiley

Enjoy!

@AiluraBlaze Thank you for the recipes! I was so happy to find a vanilla cake one! ^.^ next time I go shopping I will be buying some vanilla to make this cake hehe

Just curious, is there any difference to using olive oil instead of butter? I've seen some peope use oil instead of butter to make it a little bit more healthy. I was wondering if there would be a very big difference in taste and/or cosistency.

@RedAsphodel90 Butter's texture is thicker than oil's, particularly when cold. So maybe use a little bit less oil. Here's a site where you can find a conversaion chart. Happy cooking!

PS: The kids love this recipe. Easy to make, quick to bake!
