Are there any dietary restrictions involved?

There's always the easy stuff like oatmeal — https://www.theoatmealartist.com/basic-oatmeal-how-to-3-simple-recipes/

or eggs — https://www.incredibleegg.org/recipe/collection/fast-breakfast-recipes/

In my case, as my family is unusual, we tend to eat what is more or less lunch at breakfast — brown rice or macaroni with beans, fish (curried or in tomato sauce), cucumbers, fried plantains, baked sweet potatoes, stewed chicken (not for me these days), spinach, baked eggplant, some combination of those.

Bread (or what we call bake, or fried bake, both basically different kinds of bread) and, eggs, tuna, sardine, or sausage; sometimes macaroni, sometimes a homemade pizza.

Sometimes if I'm opting for a light breakfast I'll make a smoothie with about a cup of greek yogurt (always gotta start my day with protien lol) and lots of fruit. It fills me up without weighing me down. Other times I'll make eggs and toast, but my favorite thing to eat for breakfast is oatmeal. I usually prep it the night before.

here's the recipie:

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup greek yogurt

1 cup rolled (old fashioned) oats

3 Tbsp. cocoa powder

cup chocolate protein powder (optional)

1 Tbsp. honey

tsp. vanilla*

Yogurt with cereal (plain cereals, not breakfest cereal with loads of sugar). Some sort of muesly or another. Some have dried fruit. You can also add dried fruit and some nuts. Frozen blueberries or other small red fruits are awesome. Freeze them in a bag or whatever. Just make sure they are totally dry before freezing. Then you can just take off a few and add still frozen. Almost instant yogurt ice treat.

Nuts, you can buy them whole or peeled. Always buy plain. You can roast them in the oven or a pan at home, no salt or whatever. Tastes great. Do it at least twice a weak and store in a closed jar after they are cold. Workd great for almonds, hazelnuts, cashews and so on...

As always, beware of allergies with nuts.

I was going to say oatmeal, too. I also enjoy fresh fruit in it.
