1) What dreams did you have as a child? 

As a child, I had these beautiful dreams that would sparkle in my imagination. One of my most cherished dreams was inspired by the enchanting Barbie movie Barbie in the Pink Shoes. Oh, how I was mesmerized by the grace and elegance of ballet! Watching those dancers twirl and leap across the stage brought a deep longing within me to become a ballerina myself. The music, the costumes, the sheer artistry of it all filled my heart with pure wonder and possibility. 

2) Did you manage to realize them when you got older? 

As I went through adolescence, I encountered various challenges that made it difficult for me to turn my childhood dream into reality. The weight of societal expectations and pressures began to bear down on me, tugging me in different directions. While a part of me yearned to pursue ballet with unwavering dedication, there were other responsibilities and opportunities that called for my attention. 

Moral 💗

Looking back now, I realized that God had a different plan for me, and I am truly grateful for it. Pursuing ballet at an intense level would have demanded extensive training and countless hours of practice. It would have required an all-consuming focus, potentially pulling me away from other essential aspects of my life. 

In a way, not being able to fully commit to ballet allowed me to achieve a balance in my academic journey. I was able to dedicate myself to my studies, explore diverse extracurricular activities that contributed to my personal growth, and work towards gaining admission to good universities. This broader focus allowed me to discover new passions and develop skills that have proven invaluable in both my personal and professional life. 

Moreover, not being solely fixated on ballet also afforded me the opportunity to nurture my social life. I formed deep and meaningful connections with friends and family, engaged in numerous social activities, and gained a deeper perspective of the world. These experiences have brought immense joy and enriched my life, reminding me that there is so much beauty to be found beyond the confines of a single dream.

While my childhood dream of becoming a ballerina may not have been materialized, I have come to appreciate the winding paths that life has taken me on. It has taught me the importance of adaptability, resilience, and finding joy in unexpected journeys. Dreams have a way of evolving, and as they do, they lead us to discover new passions, uncover hidden talents, and ultimately shape us into the individuals we are meant to become. 

So, even though my ballet shoes may not have graced the stage, I am grateful for the twists and turns that have molded me into the person I am today. Life has a remarkable way of guiding us towards paths that align us with our unique strengths and passions, and I eagerly embrace the adventures that lie ahead.
