Looking for someone to share + discuss astrology with
Hello. I am looking for an open minded engaging listening ear to discuss astrology with. I am kind of a noon when it comes to astrology myself but I know a bit. Looking for someone to share my insights + birth chart. Mostly looking for a liatener. Preferably someone who knows abt astrology as well. Someone who can say things like "That's interesting. Tell me more." Or even someone who can say "I didnt know Saturn was like that. I thought Saturn did X.". We can have different opinions but we should end on respecting them + accepting them + being willing to learn from each other

Hey I like jyotish !! It's Hindu astrology. They charted the precession of the equinox for thousands of years while Europe fell into the dark ages. Your sun sign could be different in the jyotish system because they are about 2 weeks different!
Oh, thats very interesting. Sounds complex and precise. I will have ti figure out my chart in it out of curiosity. I believe in astrology but sometimes question my sun sign. And most of people's sun signs. The rest of the signs, especially moons, makes sense to me. Want to talk further?
Though I will say one of my partners is very, vwry, very much like his sun sign so it is give and take

I’m very into the sort of narrative forms that domains like astrology weave over data analysis and patterns in the world. It makes sense to me that there would be patterns of how beings show up in the world that reflect a lot of nuance but also a bounded scope of complexity. There’s a lot of ways to make sense of how people show up based on when they are born and all of them seem to be pointing at some underlying truth. I’m into astrology but not knowledgeable on how raw data becomes narratives.
Im still fairly new to astrology so im not sure if i could give you the information. I can give u what I believe are resources but honestly im not even exactly sure what you are looking for
@forcefulAcres4391 I used to read birth charts based on western astrology, the idea that because we are 90% water and water is polar, pulled by gravity and the Moon, which in turn is affected by the Earth, the planets, the Sun and so on, I feel that when we are developing and born and growing all of that affects us all in ways we don't fully comprehend! Madness or truth? Who knows. But personalities and horoscopes too?

@forcefulAcres4391 I actually was gonna vent software to test and it meant I no longer needed to draw huge charts, I just switched focus but still have the interest.

Hey! I don't really know much about interpreting charts but i know signs and planets descriptions, i was obsessed with astrology in my teenage years lol
