Malayalam ^^
Hello everyone, I have been trying to learn this language ( yup that's a language I just mentioned) for 19 months . For those who don't know , it's a language spoken in some parts of India ( Asia) . Aaaand my favorite quality about it - it has got a very beautiful collection of alphabets!!! I know , it sounds funny but I LOVED it , that's the reason I got started with it in the first place ^^. Sooo far I have been able to communicate using the very basics words. I really want to learn more and widen my vocabulary. If you know any sources(in English preferably ) for accomplishing it , please let me know. If not , that fine too. Thank you very much for reading. Means a lot ❣️
@Vitalda - Hello, and thank you for introducing us to this new language! I don't know anything about it, but I'm glad you are learning something new :) I hope you can find more resources. Have you searched on Youtube? Or possibly checked with your local library? Those might be good places to look.
Hey, glad to hear you're trying to learn a South Indian language. I would prefer you to learn Tamil as Malayalam evolved from Tamil.
Hi Vitalda,
My bestie is from kerela n speaks malyalam though I don't unfortunately. She will be very happy to know someone is trying to learn this language. Thank you for your admiration towards this beautiful Indian language n all the best to you in your 'malayalam' journey. Do try kerela food sometime, super delicious. Cheers!!
Fun fact- this word Malayalam is a palindrome.
@Vitalda
A lot of malayalam movies, books meant for children and school books helped me learn malayalam as an adult. I'm now, fluent in malayalam, thanks to the movies and books, you should try to use the help of state board books of kerala and CBSE books pertaining to malayalam. They're extremely helpful. And don't forget the movies with subtitles, they help the most!!

When i was a child, there used to be books called siso books where they had english malayalam books. They helped too.

Hi Vitalda! I know it’s been a while since you posted this, but it was so heartening to read about your love for the Malayalam language. It truly is a beautiful script!
I am a new listener here and a native Malayalam speaker. If you are still interested in practicing or if you're looking for new words as you 'walk the path' of learning, I would be very happy to help or guide you to some resources.
Wishing you peace on your journey! 😊"
