Ax throwing - because I saw a farmer doing it many years ago long before it became a fad
Learning languages - because I'd play video games often with people from other countries and wanted to know what they were saying
Reading - to know everything about everything
Writing - because i have this need to be creative all the time
Building card towers - to pass the time in school (I hated school)

I've always been into arts, sketches and drawings. But my main hobby is painting and I got into it because of Bob Ross :)
@BlueDarkAurora I made one about 7' before, but I ran out of ceiling, I don't know how high I could go, I guess if I had enough cards and height I could go higher for sure. Drawings really good I used to draw a lot, but I don't as much anymore. I tried Bob Ross painting too, I'm not very good though lol. I bet you're good.

I was reading an absurd amount of books because I thought reality sucked balls and books were better. Then I got the crazy idea to start writing my own stories and it's been a neverending start-and-stop since then. I also watched Dead Poets Society and Freedom Writers around that time... made me feel very righteous and like I was on the right path.
Now I read just as much as I write. And when I read, it makes me want to write. And when I write, it makes me want to read. The struggles of being a bookworm and writer at heart.
I've stacked up so much money in books and used up so much storage with all my semi-edited drafts.😭 'Tis life, I guess.

In yr 4 they introduced a music program to my school and obviously i tried out and ended up playing violin. I'm in grade 9 now and still play for my high school.

Mine is reading relentlessly! Started to distract myself from mundane routines. But now my routine just gets in the way of me reading fiction, non fiction, news and magazines.

when i was 3-4 years old, my mom forced me to goto art classes. i was doing pretty well, and they was keep making me go there.
it was one of the little things they raised me, so i was happy. however, i just use it now for expressing my feelings, but i find it disgusting nowadays for some reason :(

My hobby is crocheting☺️
One afternoon I was in my living-room with my ex-best friend of two years. When I saw her crocheting and at first I didn't quite know what she was doing, but when I asked her about it I was like "that's kinda cool can you teach me?"
And ever since I've been addicted to crochet.

@yourOneAndonlYFreja99 yep lol some hobbies are expensive ^^ I haven't tried crocheting yet but I have all the supplies for it. Same with embroidery. Most of the times I'm just painting :)

@yourOneAndonlYFreja99 It is ^-^ I try to do realistic landscapes mostly using acrylic, sometimes I use oil paints. And for some aesthetic art I use gouache.

I'd say start small if you're afraid of making mistakes, maybe try a small canvas or a simple object to paint, like a flower. I loved painting clouds.
The most important part is not stressing about making the painting perfect. It doesn't need to be perfect to be beautiful :)
