Meet this guy! I don’t know his name. I’m assuming it’s a he. I’ll say that.

I met him at a zoo, and I stayed by him for a while, talking to him and building up a language. After a while, I got him to talk! He says Hello. Very proper lil birdo. There was another bird, a greater sulfur crested cockatoo, and I copied (I’ll say her) body language for a bit, and after a couple minutes she was being all sassy to me, it was so fun. She says Bah Bah Bah!

I love meeting birds that mimic and talking with them. It’s so cool to build up that language, translating bird body to human body, and then talking and dancing!

I got to do it with a kestrel recently, which was so cool! It’s normally just parrots, that was the first normal bird of prey I’ve ever talked with! We danced, it was so fun.

Anyways yea, I’ve convinced my friends and family that I’m just a DND druid.

The zookeeper came over and talked to me when he saw me with the parrots (the kestrel was in a different place), he said I was right, I found the only 2 trained birds in the whole exhibit!

@Amanda84

ik! That’s a scarlet macaw, they get all the pretty pictures. Mollucan cockatoos are also really pretty, they’re all light pink 🩷
