Close Up Photography - I always find it a challenge with my camera.
For me doing close up photography like this is always a challenge for me. Here is some I had to do for the R/C Airplane forums.

Well, the results seem not as bad as you may think. As far as I learnt it, there are many factors contributing to the final result of such close-up shots: the sensor's resolution, the sharpness of the lens, ISO sensitivity, aperture and shutter settings (I believe you may have got it mostly automatic), and a plenty of light.
You are doing not bad, we cannot expect too much from such small sensors (small not only in terms of megapixels, but in physical size). That could be better, but more complicated with larger sensor DSLR or mirrorless cameras, because they use smaller depth-of-field.
By the way, I've noticed you probably struggle with your hands being allergic to some detergents (probably those you use at work?).
@jacek73 I think my hands are fine. They have always looked this way. But they are in chemicals at work all the time! Gloves don't work cause your hands just get sweaty. The pictures worked for the purpose I made them. Also this site makes the pictures worse than they are.

Sorry. My own hands are allergic to nickel or chrome, and some kinds of plastic and liquid soap. So, maybe I am just a little bit oversensitive in this matter 😉
Some websites or web connections compress graphic files to make them easier to view or download - maybe that is the reason why? Several years ago I used a small LTE modem that looked like a pen drive, and it really devastated some of my photos.
@jacek73 It's hard for me to tell. This camera only creates Jpeg files. A really good camera will take raw pictures. 7Cups reduces the resolution. So you don't even get to see the full resolution of my pictures.
