Photos of Fans (2022)
I feel like I do stupid things sometimes. For example, why did I take pictures of fans? I remember that I was talking to someone online, and they told me they were feeling Hot. I guess I in spirit of the conversation I decided to go and take pictures of some of the fans I and my parents own. What I won't do to try and keep a friend. 🤨 I don't think I am in contract with that person anymore. 🙃

@tryingtosurvive2024 not yet this time of year I find the cold. But I have to wear this huge brace that covers most of my back and stomache, so I can sit up. Otherwise I can only lie down. So the summer gets sooooo hot

When I think of you, I also think of Joni Eareckson Tada. Have you ever heard of her?

Joni Eareckson Tada (born October 15, 1949) is an American evangelical Christian author, radio host, artist, and founder of Joni and Friends,[1] an organization "accelerating Christian ministry in the disability community"
Joni lived a very active life all through her growing-up years, enjoying riding horses, hiking, tennis, and swimming. On July 30, 1967, when she was 17 years old, she dove into the Chesapeake Bay after misjudging the shallowness of the water. She had a fracture between the fourth and fifth cervical vertebrae and became a quadriplegic (or tetraplegic), paralyzed from the shoulders down.[4] During her two years of rehabilitation, according to her autobiography Joni, she experienced anger, depression, suicidal thoughts, and religious doubts. However, during occupational therapy, she learned to paint with a brush between her teeth and began selling her artwork. She also writes this way, although for most writing tasks she relies on voice recognition software. To date, she has written over forty books, recorded several musical albums, and starred in an autobiographical movie of her life, and is an advocate for people with disabilities.[4]
Joni wrote of her experiences in her 1976 international best-selling autobiography, Joni: The unforgettable story of a young woman's struggle against quadriplegia & depression, which has been distributed in many languages. The book was made into a 1980 feature film of the same name, starring herself. Her second book, A Step Further, was released in 1978.[8]

@tryingtosurvive2024 when you said she paints with her mouth, I realised yes I have heard of her before ❤ I just couldn't remember her name ❤ trigger warning, yucky stufff.... Most of my fingers we're cut off, so a few years ago I couldn't even hold a pencil properly, and with limited movement cause of my broken spine and half paralysed thing. But I've worked really really hard and now I can do all sorts of art and crafts😁 here's some recent ones😁

@Tinywhisper11 I did when I took drawing class. High School. i used to have a sketch book. The last time I dew someone. I was on a social anxiety site, and a woman on there wanted me to draw her, and she wanted to draw me. We sent each other pictures. I drew her, and then scanned it into the computer. She seemed shocked that I actually did it. She drew me on the computer. We all deleted our drawings. Later she asked me if I still had hers. I did not.
