A close to another week.

I'm a little behind on my schoolwork. Not too bad. But I managed to slip up and procrastinate today and now I'm playing the catch up game.

I got to help at an honor society event last night, where we hosted a dinner for the Shelby County Republican Party. Since my anxiety had calmed down a good bit, it was quite a lot of fun. I got to work the open bar most of the night, and I just spent the rest of the night bussing tables and cleaning. But I enjoyed it.

There's a girl in my group I'm interested in. The problem is, I don't want't to fly in and make advances. I want to be friends with her, but at the same time, I feel attracted to her. I don't know her that well, so I asked if we could hang out one day and go do something, but I slipped up and forgot what her number was. Now I'm worried that if I give my number to my advisor in order to send to her, she'll think I'm weird or something.

I dunno. I feel like I'm just overthinking all of this. What's more, I've had multiple fantasies about me and her, and I don't even know if I should. It's weird. I've never had that happen to me before. I guess this is a result of coming off of nofap. I finally feel attracted to other people.

Maybe...

Nck -

It sounds like you are on track in a pretty good place right now. Taking part in the social activity, helping oput, talking to people and actually enjoying it is super fantastic! I can't really give you advice about the girl problem. It is hard to know what she would think if she got the information that you lost her number - second hand. She would probably think tou just misplaced it- perfectly human and natural. But she might also think that you are being a little too forward with seeking her out. If it were me, I would probably do what you can to "run into" her again and explain on your own. As far as fantasies, that is also pretty nromal from what I know, as long as they don't take over your regular life. Catching up on that schoolwork would take your mind off her for a while at least, and you need to do that anyway- right?

The best romantic relationships always start out as friends getting to know one another. Most girls like being "chased" a little and LOVE little attentive acts of kindness. Good luck, you have a world of goodness, achievement and love ahead of you - go for it.

@MusicCandy Thanks for the input, although I went ahead and gave my advisor the go ahead -_-. I have no idea what she'll think of me now. I can only hope I don't come off as too weird.
