A little, but very little problem that I have

(Sorry if I'm not explict with my info, and for bad english! Feel ok to ask me something!!) -Just opinions and advice especially please!-

Since childhood I am used to being alone and not having so many friends, so much that today it is difficult for me to be social. But, regardless of that, I have some friends who are not interested in that. During these days (I mean, this friday) I will be on my birthday and I do not know if I would like to invite them to a party, because I have not talked to them for a long time and I am also afraid that something bad will happen... What do you think that I can do?? I need to take a decision so fast! :((
