A simple Thank You
At the moment it feels like people are just trying to use me and think of me as too foolish to contradict them.
I've been standing my ground though, I can only be pushed so far and then I will snap and you'll see a new side of me.
Most of today though was an unexpected blessing, the help I was seeking finally came through. It was a long slow tedious process but now it is done.
She was really nice and patient. I didn't feel judged or rushed. She just listened, took care of things and did extras that I hadn't anticipated.
It just felt so strange that someone was actually being decent to me. The rest seemed resentful but she was just lovely.
I didn't feel obligated but I just gave her a small gift and bought her lunch because that's a rare occurrence to me and being ill, I know I couldn't manage.
I hate that I even have to seek out a hand but it is what it is. I'm getting more and more fragile as time passes.
Her whole face was so surprised and I knew she was genuinely appreciative. It wasn't snarky or entitled. I can't stand that.
And she didn't even ask for anything, I was the one that said It's the least I can do, nothing grand, just a simple gesture.
I shall probably have 2 more appointments this week and then the weight I've been carrying can be lifted.
I hope that my full appetite will return to normal soon and that I'll stop feeling this distaste towards myself that I had to rely on other people.

I'm so happy that your appointment was so positive and you feel so good about it!
That makes me happy!
This must be a great weight off your mind!
