Bare

Underneath the views from society,

Where everyone complains yet adds on the hate,

Underneath the no privacy,

As restrictions are made before you're 18,

Underneath the body shame,

Self love is no where to be seen,

Underneath the lack of love,

As parents forget you soak in everything,

Underneath the tears of pain,

As your shower covers your screams,

Underneath the fear of loneliness,

Where you give them every piece,

Underneath the depression,

Getting out of bed is the task for the day,

Underneath the anxiety,

You can't breathe,

You're bare,

Seeing every little brake and chip,

Realizing you don't recognize yourself in your own skin.
