Behind The Scenes
I grew up with a family that worked in the movie business, and were all about making movies etc. What I have learned is that no one can really believe what they see firsthand. Actors, directors, musicians all have so much pressure to always have a perfect face with a smile on it, saying " life is just so perfect", when deep down it probably isn't. What is truly real are the things that people don't see behind the camera or behind closed doors. I like to call it the behind the scenes. There is a saying that goes, we reveal our true selves in the dark, when no one is watching and I firmly believe that. From the moment we step from behind our door and into the outer world, we are filled with pre conceived notions that we are being judged and that we have to conform to always having a perfect life. But what is true, and what is real what is lying behind the scenes, only those who are wise enough to sneek in and not believe the first hand lies on the outside will know what is hiding in the dark behind the scenes.
@Kendyy124 You make some really good points here. They're especially important in today's society in which people portray their wonderful lives on social media. But it's good to try not to compare yourself to others because you never know what truly goes on behind closed doors. A lot of my acquaintances are getting engaged/married now, but I tell myself I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, you never know. I think you really bring up a good topic!
