Checking In With Myself
I want to pause and check in with myself. Emotionally, I notice that I’ve been carrying a mix of feelings—some that weigh heavily on me and others that remind me of my strength. I remind myself that all emotions are valid, and it’s not just okay, but crucial to sit with them without judgment. This acknowledgment and validation of my feelings is a powerful act of self-acceptance.
Mentally, I’ve been thinking a lot about balance. Some days I feel like I’m doing enough, and other days I question myself. But deep down, I know that progress doesn’t always have to be significant or noticeable—it can be as small as taking a breath, writing these thoughts down, or choosing kindness toward myself. This understanding reassures me and eases my anxiety about my journey.
One thing I’m grateful for today is the 7cups community. It may seem small, but it makes me feel a little lighter inside.
One thing I’d like to work on is myself. Not because I’m not enough as I am, but because I deserve to keep growing.
As I conclude this entry, I want to remind myself: healing is not a linear process, and every step forward counts—even the smallest ones. This understanding helps me to be patient and less pressured about my progress.
