I'm trying...

I'm up at 2:30 in the morning, five days a week for work. Home 8 hours later. My husband works evenings, so he'll leave the house around 3:00 in the afternoon. Kids are home from school at 2:30 in the afternoon. On days I work, after the kids go to school, he has the house to himself. Even though, he doesn't consider this his "personal time" , I do because there is no one there to bother him or anything else. I don't get "personal time" my days off I'm with him until he goes to work and then I still have the kids.

I feel guilty and selfish, but I know how important it is to have time alone to think and meditate. Anytime I bring this subject up, it creates an argument. How can I get him to understand?

@WorkingMom84 You definitely do sound like you're trying very hard, and it does sound difficult and tiring :( I can understand your frustration. Do you have any other family and friends who you can ask for help from from time to time? Are there any other ways you can approach the subject with your husband where you can both remain calm and have a conversation on it? I understand it must not be easy if it causes arguments each time you bring it up :(

I hope things get better for you soon <3
