Reclaiming My Power Through Daily Practice
Today I returned to my magical practice with quiet intention. I lit a single white candle—not for any elaborate spell, but as a signal to myself that I am here, I am present, and I am choosing to remember who I am.
There is power in the small rituals. Stirring my tea clockwise with a whispered wish and washing my face and imagining old energy running off with the water. Pulling a card from my deck and letting it speak honestly, even when it’s hard to hear. These moments anchor me when the world feels too loud.
Lately, I’ve been feeling disconnected—not from my beliefs, but from the doing of them. I realized today that magic isn’t just about the moon phases or crystal grids. It’s about living with awareness, with reverence. It’s about aligning my choices with my intentions and trusting that my energy shapes my reality.
Tonight, I plan to write a small sigil to carry with me this week. I want it to represent clarity and courage. I’ll charge it under the waning moon, a process of imbuing the sigil with the energy of the moon phase, asking for release of self-doubt. The Mother aspect feels especially close right now—offering me nurturing without judgment, reminding me I can grow gently into my strength.
Magic is not something I have to earn. It’s my birthright. I’m not lost—I just needed to remember that even in stillness, I am practicing, and that practice is leading me to personal growth.
