Getting hit for the second time by my partner just makes me feel worthless. Having to plead him to stop made me feel worse. i don't want to leave him but i want him to stop and to love me like before.

Hello! First off I hope you are safe and well!!!! As a survivor of abuse I want to say it never gets better! An abuser has alot of things they need to work and if he has hurt you before he WILL do it again! Please seek help!

I'm in the same boat and as JazzieBear said, it will not get better! They will feel more comfortable hitting you once they have done it.
