Justice for orange
I am being driven crazy by our Christmas ornaments, as we didn't update our collection for a while and I made every possible combo I can think of while decorating the tree over the years.
So I decided to get some new ornaments that are different from what we already have. And so, I want orange baubles. But despite the stores already offering Christmas sortiment, there is no orange anywhere. I found together like 2 sets, one of them being mostly brown and the other not looking good because of the too much texture and types that didn't even seem to match each other. All stores have the classic red, gold, blue, white, silver etc. But no orange. I demand justice 🍊

I did see some artificial orange slices but they looked really artificial. Maybe if you get real ones they'd be like a potpourri? I love the smell of oranges myself 😅

At least they look more orange under warm light so will look around the intended shade on the tree. When the light is on... 😢

@Amanda84 well, sort of lol. It's not vibrant enough in normal light, but the room it will be in has warm light, so should look like I want it to for the most part 😁

@sadcat13 Oh man that's a bummer isn't it? Would they show better color if you wiped them down and polished them a little? I'm sorry they weren't what you were hoping for Cat. I think they'll still look nice on the tree though ❤️
@mytwistedsoul well. They will look like I want them to in lamp light, so guess that's fair enough. Will update when we put up the tree on 24th

@mytwistedsoul yesss. We always put it up on 24, but I don't know why. It is a family tradition, but if I had to guess, it was probably a way to keep us entertained as kids until dinner, since here, we celebrate on 24th eve
@sadcat13 That's a pretty smart way to keep the kids busy! I wait til the last minute to put it up because I'm not really a big fan of Christmas. I'm lucky if it stays up til new years 😂

@sadcat13 I love when people do other colors for Christmas. An orange Christmas sounds beautiful. Makes me want to try something different next year, maybe purple!
@breanac19 I was actually considering purple as an option 😁 but orange won. Maybe when I get tired of the new combinations, I may add some purple to the mix in a few years 😁 noone wanted orange baubles lol. But I said I'm decorating the tree, and I'm tired of having all the combinations exhausted and I want something new 😂 totally share your ornaments with us when you get them 😊
