Trust family
Who else doesn’t trust family? The closest ones can grate you on like hard cheese, but one that doesn’t mature with time, once broken trust is hard to find. Other people come into play and you realise there are normal people out there and family members soon begin turning into metamorical monsters. Living together makes it worse. Being in lockdown at home due to sickness or physical injury can feel like bringing *** on earth. Especially when one is older than you and you need to fight for your own rights. Is there a way out of this mess? Headphones seem to be my only salvation. Love isn’t sparse, but trust is. One can forgive but cannot trust after years of making the same mistake of choosing to trust and getting broken in the process. Never trust again is the voice residing in my head, can’t wait until fully healed so I can leave the house and get away from them.
As the old saying goes, blood isn't always thicker than water.
...sometimes, however, its consistency is that of used motor oil.
