Writing
A listener suggested I write. That I let my heart bleed Infront of you all. Show the art that it becomes on the canvas on life. The art that is unique, raw and unadultered.
Do you see me a writer?
Me? 😏
@RelaxedJoy if you can put pen to paper Joy, then you're a writer. I'm reminded here of an interview I once read with Diana Gabaldón, author of the Outlander series, where she was asked what qualifications did she have to be a writer. Well, she replied, "I wrote a novel - I wasn't aware you needed a licence to write". And that was how she got started. Writing is a skill; it takes practice and dedication like any other, but it's not some mystical, esoteric pursuit reserved only for the hallowed initiates. We only get better at it and move beyond our faltering self-consciousness by actually doing it. I once did Tim Clare's 100-day writing challenge and that was an eye-opener. if you're interested in this, let me know and I'll try to find the link.
Dear Demi, you took this quite seriously. I write for fun, for the soothing of my soul and the healing of my heart. To sort my emotions sometimes perhaps.
I'm curious about this Tim Claire's 100-day writing challenge, if you can find a link for it, I'd be grateful.
Ps: you sound like a writer. Would like to know more about you.
Wishing you the beautiful things in life 🌛🌄
@RelaxedJoy I took the premise of the question seriously, but I also write for fun, for whimsy, for self-expression: it's the counterpart to the responses I typically draft on the forums, wherein I plumb the depths in addressing issues raised. Writing is whatever you want it to be. Tim has other writing challenges; this was the one I completed.
