Intro of an Antisocial Person

I was diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder about 5 years ago. This was after a misdiagnosis of NPD, which then lead to the proceeding assessments that accurately diagnosed me. I would be considered an Antisocial personality who presents with organized features. Basically, I am very calculated and have honed my self-control. Unlike those with disorganized features I am able to mingle well in society. I am highly manipulative and very good at mimicing emotions in proper context. I presented many emerging features in early childhood, but was not diagnosed until the age of 21. Which is typical as the DSM requires a normal standard of adult age to diagnose someone with personality disorders, particularly those such as mine. I have never experienced remorse or guilt of any kind. Nor have I ever experienced any form empathy for anyone. I am a pure Antisocial personality in this sense, as well as this is my only disorder. I also have a higher than average intelligence and I.Q. Which I have used to pursue a degree in medicine and mental health. I do have many dark features and have acted on them regularly in the past. However as I have grown older I have also grown more disciplined and do not act on these impulses as frequently. Those who meet me say that I am very charming, and if come to know of my diagnosis have a hard time believing it. This is typically due to the fact that those Antisocials functioning at my level have little difficulty in making others feel that we actually care. I do have friends however I do not regard their lives as important in any real way. I typically feel more of an ownership over them. If they are to die or leave my life in some way though, I have never missed or felt anything for them. There are a few individuals that fall into my sphere of protection, which means that I will harm those that harm them. But typically I am unconcerned with others well being outside of how it affects my own. I am not a "bad" guy, nor am I sadistic or a serial killer. I have harmed for pleasure, but mainly through psychological means and not often now. I usually am a very nice person once you get to know me, and unless you somehow encroach on my life in a drastic way, have nothing to fear from me. I do not go around toying with people's lives for the hell of it. I am usually too unconcerned about it for them to warrant any of my attention. I have taken part in a few studies locally regarding my disorder, and work closely with the mental health feild where I am. However due to the nature and stigma surrounding my disorder I prefer to only speak about it anonymously as on here. I am happy to openly discuss it or answer questions of any who are interested. There is no need for anyone to tip toe around the subject or mince words with me. I am not very easy to offend and can easily discern if someone is attempting to or not. Please feel free to be candid and straightforward. I am not shy about my diagnosis nor do I hide its features when speaking like this.

hello there. My name is Daniel. I do have a question. what did you do as a child to make them think you had these problems. I should also say that I have the same disorder. I have no problem saying that for me it was hurting animals and people. got me sent to jail but thats a story for another time. so did you hurt animals is the question I am wondering and if not what made them think you had this problem. if yes then I have a much funner question. how many times before someone found out.
