BPD and misanthrope
Any body with BPD also becoming a misanthrope because your tired of being judged or having to explain why you feel what you feel or do what you do when your thoughts overwhelm you... I'm to the point now where I just wanna be a hermit that lives in the woods alone with nature where I could have peace and quiet and never have to explain myself to anyone ever again ( but sadly this won't happen because I'm destined to be a caregiver to my autistic son)...
Yeah I hear you. Sick to damn death of having to explain, trying to explain and failing to explain. Feeling lonely but choosing isolation.
I agree. I tend to isolate often and feel more comfortable there. We often receive negative responses from our peers and family and tend to be unanimously designated as "too sensitive". I have heard this my whole life which instantly triggers exaggerated rage, and only reinforces my illness. Additionally, I think this has much to do with mistrust from previous hurt, and fears of abandonment.
