BPD and support.
Its not easy having BPD , and it can be very difficult to get support. Some places offer no help, some people run from you as if you are a monster.
It can get super lonely when you have very little support. Your emotions start to ring high and you start to feel super low.
Having a strong support system can change your life and can help you become better.
Let's have a look at how to create a strong support system for you.
We can find support in friends or families. As long as we don't expect so much from them .Often with BPD we expect alot more and though it's our bpd , people don't always understand this.
We can find support in groups such as recovery groups and church groups.
We can find support in the hobbies and interests we are in.
We can also find support by helping those who also struggle with BPD.
Support is found in many places we just need to look hard.
There is alot of online support for bpd, one just needs to look. I find when I read or watch other people with BPD and hear their life story it encourage me so much .
You can also find support in therapy. Its a number one place I encourage everyone to seek support in.
Then you need to support yourself. How do you do this ?
By giving yourself self love and by working hard on improving yourself.
using dbt skills.
using coping strategies.
using kind words towards yourself.
often we can talk ourselves down and show no love towards ourselves.
This is the most important part of our healing, it is to show love to ourselves and to work hard on ourselves because we are worthy .However our BPD often tells us we are not worthy and we are pretty much nothing...
It is important to know the greatest support for you is You 💓
hope this is encouraging 💓 Stay strong.
Your words are indeed encouraging. We are worthy of healing and healing is possible, there is much that can be done to ease the impact of BDP symptoms
