Can I Ever Feel Consistent Love?
I feel like in a relationship, sometimes I love a girl with all my heart and sometimes I have no emotional connection too and just wanna leave. I can't tell if my brain is just too messy to ever feel real, consistent love. Should I just never commit to a girl or is this something that can be dealt with? How?
@indigoShade9220, this is a great question and you are not the only one struggling with this! I think sometimes our own moods and feelings can affect how we feel about the people we are close to in any given moment. So, one thing to start noticing is: what is your mood when you are feeling 100% committed? What else is going on in your life? And what is your mood when you are feeling totally disconnected? What else is going on in your life? I'm curious to hear if you discover there are any patterns...
@PellaWeismanLMFT Those are some smart things to focus on. I'll have to come back to this (mainly because I have trouble remembering what I think and feel when I'm thinking/feeling something different), but I will definitely update you.
