Can't take anymore
Well my husband left me today because i have bpd and he can't handle it. We've been together for 12 years and have 4 kids together. I don't know what I'm going to do but I know I can't handle this. I wish I would never have been born I've done no good to anyone or myself.

Onelove I'm deeply saddened to hear about your marital struggles. I admire your courage to post this message at such a difficult time. I can imagine how painful it must be after 12 years and 4 kids. Like you I'm a wife and mom who's speaking from experience so I can totally relate. You're not alone because BPD affects millions all over the world. I'm sorry it's taking a toll on your life and marriage. I'm here to support you if you ever need someone to talk to that understands what you're dealing with.
Take care and best wishes!
Joy
@CaringJoy thank you for your support. I just wish I could be normal so someone could love me the way I love them but I've been this way as long as I can remember so I guess that will never happen. I hate being this way and not having a life or friends all because everything is too much. I was crazy for ever thinking I could have a real relationship and a family.
@Onelove82807 Sorry to hear about your separation. I am in a similar situation myself, I have a husband who I've been with for nearly 11 years and 2 daughters with him and we are VERY bad at the moment. We have had constant problems since the beginning and I'm not sure how much longer this can go on but I'm immensely scared of being left alone with 2 children and a house to look after. 😢 but I think this relationship is making me so much worse. I feel I would be a better me without it but I can't cope alone. Trapped and very down. Hopefully it will be onwards and upwards for you in good time
You can always get better! Please don't feel stuck with how things are currently. You deserve to improve and have a happy life in a satisfying relationship. Sorry that it isn't going well right now. :(
@SurferRosa thank you so much. I need all the support I can get right now. This is hell atm :-(
I can't imagine what it must feel like to have the bottom fall out of your life after twelve years. I do encourage you to take this time to grieve this loss and surround yourself with love and support. This too shall pass, and you may even find yourself stronger and wiser for it. I know things become so much more complex when children are involved. Relationships are one of the top areas of personal life that BPD affects in a terribly negative way. I myself have navigated the pains of a separation involving a child after four years together. After a significant hardship and identity crisis, I simply fell out of love with him. This isn't even taking into account the mental health factor.
In what ways do you feel BPD affected your marriage?
I wish you sound sleep and strength of heart.
