Identity disturbance
Identity disturbance is a phrase used to describe a loss of your sense of self. It is a key characteristic of borderline personality disorder.
Could me thinking im enby be due to identity disturbance or is there more to it.
I honestly don't know what my gender identity is but I lean more to enby due to lack of wanting to be male or female but I can't stop thinking that it's because of my bpd.
Not looking for answers just looking for a discussion
@pluckypLucky i think its very normal to not know what you identify as. it can take time so its probably not bpd

Maybe we are talking here about another issue besides from BPD. Gender dysphoria is a real thing and doesn't have to be related to you having BPD.
I can just tell you, don't rush to have all the answers right away. Take the time to explore yourself, your thoughts, beliefs, what you like and what you don't. This is an ongoing process and you under any means have to rush to put a label on yourself. And you are also most welcome to reach out for help regarding this process! I wish you the best of luck ❤️
