I left college

I just need to vent.

Saturday was supposed to be move-in day, and I was already feeling shitty because they assigned me a roommate the day before. Who does that? Anyway, after going to campus and trying to work things out with Residence Life, they told me that there are doubles and medical singles available, but because my psychologist didn't fill out the paper for accommodations well enough and because of policies, I can't stay there. I'm forced to be uncomfortable.

So that night I tried to stay in the room. I tried. I called my boyfriend in the middle of the night and he drove out 4 hours to help me pack my stuff back up and leave. He's my savior. I will not sacrifice my happiness or my sanity for a school that doesn't care about me. I literally don't even have friends there either, this year was going to be my attempt to be more social. So, I guess I'll try to find another place for me.

This is just one of those times where I look back on myself and I'm like "wow, this isn't what a normal person would do"

I'm already regretting it. Like, what am I going to do while I'm not in school?

@leggyshay I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience with school. It sounds like you have an excellent support system with your boyfriend smiley I like to think that all experiences have some postive in them (sometimes it is hard to find!). Finding what we can learn from each experience helps us grow. I wish you all the best finding new goals this year!
