I don't know if i have bpd or not, but i feel like there's something really wrong with me mentally. I've read a few things about mental disorder i thought i was bipolar but it doesn't quite fit me and then i read about bpd and i feel like every thing about bpd is exactly how i feel. I don't have the courage to go to a psychologist. I always think there's nothing wrong with me when there clearly is something wrong with me. I just want to die.

Hey, well firstly you've had the courage to speak out on this forum so that is a good start. It is frightening speaking about how you feel or even contacting a professional for help but it is extremely beneficial and the only way to get an accurate diagnosis. Maybe you could try a counsellor or a gp first if your scared to go to a Psychologist as they can point you in the right direction and help you feel at ease about sharing your feeling.

Please stay safe and talk to one of the amazing listeners for further support :)

@Angellika96

Thank you so much for sharing your concerns. I understand being in this place as I went ten years untreated and thought I too fit into this category. In my case, it turned out to be mixed manic depression, PTSD, and panic disorder. There is a lot of overlap in psychiatric conditions which I explore HERE on another thread. Finally, do be careful about self diagnosis. It can be a slippery slope. The best course of action is always to inquire to a physician or mental health professional.

What is stopping you from seeking a psychologist? You mentioned a lack of courage in your post. Do you mind if I ask what it is you're worried about?
