I actually have no clue what im doing here? I just know im having issues rationalizing when it comes to my (also borderline) girlfriend. Its so easy to take on the moods of people around you and shes super stressed out so she gets in a mood which like... I cant blame her. But fuck it puts me in a mood. Like i dont get angry or anything but i just... It makes me feel like i shouldnt be around and like im useless cause i cant fix everything and its not fair to her that she has to worry about affecting me like that when shes stressed enough without that.

I just cant find a way to shake it though. And its such a new relationship but i know i just cant let my emotions fuck it up like I always do. So basically... How do you guys keep yourself from reacting like that? Things I can do to calm myself down and accept that I'm not the problem?

I can feel ok after the fact but in the moment it just feels so much like my presence is useless and she'd be happier without me there...

@amarxnthine A few months ago I was in that exact same position. My gf and I were together for 3 months, and then realized that it wasn't working, and wouldn't work (it might work for you though). So we broke up (it was a mutual decision) and are now best friends. We don't see one another as often, and it's really helped. We still share that special connection that comes with both people having BPD. I don't know what to tell you, other than give you my experience and what worked for me. Take your time in deciding what's best for you, and for the relationship. :)
