Why the psychiatrist is avoiding me
He was the first help i got and he made me think that every thing is going to be okay again but then he started avoiding me
And now iam devastated that even with money i can't get any help and it is like a trauma from therapy i don't think i can look for another one and get this disappointed again
He said the next session will be in two weeks but it has been 2 months already and his secretary won't let me book and keep repeating those unbelievable excuses
I mean why? I didn't do anything

hi spring <3 i am so sorry that the therapist is doing this to you, especially knowing your mental health issues, that you need support with. What were the excuses the secretary was making? It doesnt sound like this office is very professional i am so sorry that you have this experience <3
Hi thank you for your reply
The secretary calls me every time it is my session time to tell me the doctor isn't coming and the last thing she said she would book an appointment and tell me the timing but didn't contact me back and iam the one that keeo calling the office
I was told it is the best psychiatrist in the city so i kind of have low expectations from other psychiatrists
@conscientiousspring2928
i am so sorry you had this experience when a you want from this individual is support and they are not living up to there role which can be frustrating i hope that they reach out to you soon or maybe consider going into the office? Sometimes face to face can be more intimidating to get the answers you rightfully deserve<3
good luck and i hope it works out as you seem to really like this phych and want the help and support from them

You had one or more sessions with a psychiatrist. He helped you think optimistically about your future. It sounds like you felt a connection with him. You're trying to get a new appointment and since 2 months the secretary says it's currently not possible. You don't believe the secretary, you believe he avoids you and you feel devastated now. Do I understand everything correctly?
What are the reasons the secretary told you?
I'm not a psychiatrist, but listeners on 7 Cups get told to tell whom they are listening to and to refer them to another listener when they get triggered by something that might prevent us from listening warmly.
It's hard for sure. We want affection, not to feel rejected.
Right? I mean he diagnosed me with BPD he should know how emotionally vulnerable we are he could have just refered me to another one or something, specially that i told him i have been struggling for 6 year and it is my first time asking for help
The secretary keeps telling me on every time it is my session that the doctor isn't coming that day and then she pushes my appointment to another time then she cancells again and so on
i tried to contact her more than once she says i will try and disappear untill i call her again
I know the doctor is meeting his patients
Thank you for taking the time to reply to me
