i'm kam, i'm 16 and i've recently been officially diagnosed with bpd after 4 years of a bipolar diagnosis. they realized it was more than that and i'm struggling with the fact that it's a reality. i wish i could disappear a lot and i just struggle with so much. would love to see some support.

It's a hard thing to get a diagnosis. Especially after thinking you've had something else the entire time. Its a lot to take in and it's sort of like a grieving progress. Even though you have a new diagnosis doesn't change the fact you are sitll the same person deep down. It highlights your struggles, but you highlight your worth. Don't give up on yourself. I know it's hard.

You've come to the right place! You're really not alone and there are so many people here who may be able to relate to what you're going through. At the same time, there will be people here who have lived with the diagnosis for much longer and may be able to provide tips for getting through the day. Joining us here is a really good first step :)
