@Brittney0w0

I know several people who have BPD and others in the Cluster B personality spectrum.  I'd say good that you have the diagnosis, now you can take steps to get better.  It will be hard work. The world will start making sense and your friends and family will become more and more valued and joyful.  Jesus loves you!  Merry Christmas

embrace the chaos, pretty sure trying to fight it just leads to getting lost. try to build a solid support network. if you can make sure u regularly have spaces to collapse(BDSM if ur into that, just be in spaces where u don't need to do anything for things to be ok and people are about u, stuff like that). heard rapidly switching favourite persons can be a lot more stable than just having one. try to pick an fp that has some space for you. if neither of that works out best of luck. try to learn about harm reduction for any stigmatized habits u may have picked up. some media recommendations: propentine, david chronenberg, never angeline north, ada rook, CJ the X. idk i'm not dealing with my BPD very well and obviously this stuff is everything but easy but i hope this helps.

I also have BPD. I can only tell you a little about my journey and maybe that might help you. At first I was happy with the diagnosis because I finally had some answers. Then the education phase started and well I guess that was a pretty bad stage because I was given so many tools and was not ready to use them. I guess now I’m am feeling like I am in the acceptance stage because I have started reaching out and am able to find some of the tools I was given are now successful. So that is me right there, right now. It has taken me approximately 3 years to get there and I never thought I would make it that far. So don’t give up, don’t rush the process, educate yourself and eventually you will find tools that are useful. Wishing you all the best and happy to talk whenever you need support.

Was just recently diagnosed after being mis-diagnosed for 15 years. I knew for a long time I wasn't Bi-Polar and finally found a therapist that would work with me to re-diagnose. What kind of distraction/coping skills do ya'll have. I have been trying so hard to distract myself from past traumas and things but nothing seems to be helping and I can feel my MH deteriorating..
