Why is it so hard to get support for plurality?
I get so frustrated having these listeners take my chat and then ask me if i'm joking when I talk about plurality. Luckily, I have only gotten general hate, no ones hated on me for being endogenic yet (I guess this community is overall just not accepting but not discriminatry of who they're not accepting to lol)
@KingoftheInfernals
I'm sorry you felt unheard.
Sometimes when people don't walk in our shoes, they dont understand our journey. If you had to tell us as a community a few things about plurality so we'd understand, what would you say? 💜
@Amanda84 its not just a disorder like DID/OSDD, there are many different forms of plurality (we are a spiritually plural system). Endogenic systems are not just something teens are doing to 'fake' having a disorder or because they think its fun to have other people in their head with them. For me, being endogenic is about my spiritual practice, I became endogenic in the first place because of my dedication and devotion to Loki, both as his High Priest and one of his spouses.
Even the DSM recognizes non-disordered plurality.
Plurality also isnt negative. I hate the narrative that if you're plural (whether disordered or not) you have to be miserable. While I didn't chose to be plural, I love being plural and it is nothing but beneficial to me overall. I've been plural in all my lifetimes, and I'll continue to be plural because I like the experience.
@KingoftheInfernals
Thank you so much for explaining your reality for me.
And taking the time to answer questions.
I love learning from other people to make sure, I'm as open, supportive and non judgemental as I can be.
If you are happy, keep being you 💕💜
@TheAbyssalCollective I can understand how frustrating that must be. I really admire how honest and self-aware you are about your experiences. It takes courage to share your truth, and it’s valid even if others don’t fully understand.
