SPD and depression
I have SPD due to childhood trauma; such painful events and those happened in adolescence have caused me chronic depression + constant suicidal thoughts and currently an elaborate plan. I cant even obtain support from people around me because I ..... dont really know how to interact with people. I kept trying to learn normal communication but never succeeded; people seem to interact in different manners and have secret codes to accompany each other that I dont know. What options do I have to be alive and achieve happiness?
Hi there @emiliaduong, welcome here. I am glad you have joined our community and I hope you will find here the support you deserve.
I am sorry I haven't replied earlier to your post. I read it this morning and I have been thinking about it all day as I wanted to write to you the best answer possible. I really feel your pain and I am sorry you experienced trauma in your childhood. I am also sad that you feel suicidal, I know how painful this thought is. I found myself elaborating a detailed plan twice. Please have a look at these pages:

If you find yourself in immediate danger or with increasing suicidal thoughts, please reach out for help.
You deserve to live fully and happily, and I believe it is possible. Have you ever considered therapy? Trough therapy, you may elaborate your trauma and learn to deal with your symptons in a different way...
I hope these few words can help you a little bit. I am here should you wish to discuss your feelings and thoughts in more depth.

What about having therapy here? Or online, wherever. Maybe it would be easier to find a therapist specialised in personality disorders? I know there are a few on this website.
@admaiorasemper Im considering online, but I dont know how to get matched to an expert in SPD
@emiliaduong
On this website, you can search therapists that list 'personality disorders' as their area of expertise. Or you could post on a specific section of this forum and ask if there is anyone with more specific SPD experience. Let me find it for you :)
