A Poem About My Son Who Was Killed

 Father,

if you come on Friday,

do not bring flowers.

The earth has had its fill of them -

and the scent, too, feels foreign.

Just place your hand

upon the cold stone,

and listen.

Perhaps you will hear,

beneath the silence,

what still remains here -

a longing that has not died

@asus123

I liked the poem, it represented to me a sense of longing..

Losing a child is truly dreadful just ask my wife..

My condolences 🙏
