A silent voice
---
There once was a boy made of echoes and noise,
a storm in his chest, too loud to be heard.
He danced on the edge of boredom and fear,
chasing laughter that shattered like glass in his hands.
And into his world stepped a girl made of stillness—
Shoko.
A name like a whisper wrapped in petals,
a voice that floated beneath the surface of sound.
She spoke in rivers, not thunder.
In hands, not lips.
In kindness, not retaliation.
But the world, young and unkind,
mocked what it could not understand.
And he—Shoya—
scared of the unknown beauty in her silence,
threw stones of cruelty to mask his own trembling.
He did not know yet
that wounds echo louder when they’re quiet.
The tide turned.
His laughter faded.
And when her smile vanished,
the silence he once mocked
became the prison of his own making.
He grew into shadows.
Avoided eyes.
He wore guilt like a heavy cloak
stitched with every name he couldn’t forget.
Faces blurred.
Voices muted.
And the world became a painting he couldn’t touch.
But healing doesn’t always arrive with fanfare.
Sometimes, it returns
as the very soul you once broke
offering a trembling hand
not to punish—
but to walk beside you.
And so they met again,
where pain remembered them both.
She, still soft and forgiving.
He, still scarred and ashamed.
Yet in their silence,
a fragile melody bloomed—
not of romance,
but of recognition.
Of “I see you.”
Of “I hurt you.”
Of “I am still here.”
They stumbled through the wreckage together.
Her smile broke like sunrise across cold skies.
His tears fell like prayers into trembling palms.
And slowly,
one by one,
the Xs over faces peeled away—
not by magic,
but by mercy.
This is the story of a boy who learned to listen.
Of a girl who never stopped hearing.
Of two broken people
weaving gold from grief.
Of forgiveness like rainfall—
soft, sacred, necessary.
Because some voices aren’t meant to be loud—
they are meant to be felt.
And some silences are not empty—
they hold the weight of the divine.
So if you’ve ever hurt
or been hurt—
if you carry the weight of a name,
or long to be seen again—
listen.
Not with ears,
but with the soul.
There is a voice beneath the silence.
And it is singing
you
home.

@Peonywisteria22 This didn’t just tell a story—it held one. Soft, aching and honest. I felt every echo and silence. Thank you for this.
@Peonywisteria22 I loved reading it . Idk something made me think , something made me reconsider things . I don't know I suddenly feel like there are many things other than V and other people, many thjngs I can do alone. Idk it's related perhaps, but something is moving. Thanks for the eye opener fr. This goes to my diary too !!
