Empty space

The empty space inside still grows,

A gaping wound that no one knows.

I use the crowds, the task, the sound,

To fill the sadness all around.

The quiet brings the endless void again.

A curse I've built through all my years,

I don't think I can ever fill this hole, it appears.

Perhaps one day, life lends a hand,

But that feels like a foreign land.

For now, I shut the door I see,

Alone with just the void and me.

@aTinyDroplet

Excellent poem about isolation i believe..

I felt myself drawn into the environment the poem discusses.. unfortunately I found that this was my past life..

i have to grow and move on..

Thank you..🌟
