Nature

What is nature to me?

Can one truly exist without a small forest?

I return to it to find myself again.

Grounding my fleeting self.

There is absolute reverence

in the nature of small buttercups and

blue bells bending in the wind

and the wandering bees

with butterflies around circling.

I lay my head upon the grass

Caressing the blades which is

the only way to return what it offers.

I hear ancient answers sung

in folksongs whispered to me

as my eyes look above the wide sky

All the living must pass,

through nature, into eternity

and perhaps some part of

the eternity is love

@eatingpopcorns

Each detail perfectly included.

You can imagine the snowdrops.

You can see each colour in your mind's eye.

Precious.

Odes to soring and what's to come.

An invitation to remind us of the beauty we have all around us.

But do we look?
