Poem I wrote
LowPigeon
May 17th
One thousand eyes aren’t watching me
Yet their pupils still peer
I feel collateral to laughter
Though no malicious motive is clear
My brain slanders my surroundings
Yet nothing had even thought of me
It doesn’t matter what I’m told
My mind will spin it in hateful ways
The most positive of affection
Knows not what pain it can lay
You mumble that you “love” me
Yet silently you shout I burden you
As much as I yearn for your guidance
I know I’d be disappointed after all
You could offer me my desires
And simply new dreams would spool
I find a sick sense of peacefulness
In my complete mess of a mind
My personality is molded by my pain
Who am I without my own experiences
