Poem fourteen
A silent cry of a child
My speech was abnormal
My eyes was unneeded
My presence to quiet
To the point of disappearing
I was a ghost wandering
Learning to be human
But I could never be one
I was to gone
I was born
unhuman
unneeded
unheard
Crying at night
I needed a presence of a mother but
How could I have that if I was crying silently
Now I could hide it
My persona I have achieved
Love
Friendship
Respect
Wanted
But not for me
But for my great act
The act is getting rotten every hour
I couldn’t handle the smell
I want to be me
But I was
Abnormal
Mistake
Wrong
Nothing I do will change
I will be the child who cries at night
Alone
Unheard
Unnoticeable
Unneeded
But I will be silent
I don’t know about this poem the inspiration is my feeling as a child or my childhood I never was really a human if that makes sense I feel like the poem is written bad I don’t feel confident about it
@Dime9878 thats heavy, but in a good way, i think this poeme does a great job in keeping you on edge but also being relatable, in a way at least, i really do love it.
