This is a poem I wrote and I just like it because it kind of bleeds emotion :)

Do you have a favorite?

The Underworld

“Fall” they judge. “Break”.

A shiver runs through my spine as the voices twist through the air. 

The underworld feels like misery made real.

Here, lost, in the realm of darkness. 

Here, lost in the realm of pain. 

The darkness surrounded me, pressure rising.

The cold reaches with fingers of bone, arching where breath meets the air.

I can’t save them. I can’t help them.

Swirls of guilt fog up my lungs; 

I caused them to fall. I caused them their pain.

The wails of the dead sound: whispering, accusing.

“You…” they whisper. “Y o u”.

“Fall!” they scream, “Break!”
