The Hag's Soul

Note: I wrote this about my own experience, about being a girl considered unattractive by those around me which led to lots of bullying and targetting both when I was a child and as I got older. Hag is just one of the words Ive been called throughout my childhood and teenage years.

Do hags have any soul?

Do hags spill any tears?

No, the hags are only angry

Cause they were deprived of it.

Our faces are invisible

Our voices are unheard

We're the unwanted seeds

Growing in punctured boats

The sea is theirs;

We drown in it

The moment we set sail

And our souls sleep with rats;

And *** conscience naps in the hay;

As they bury us with our own shovels

And execute the children of our love.
