The Sanctum

One day when you enter my home,
A cloying smell will twinge your nose.
You must return me to the loam,
On my grave place a bright red rose.
For both of us, time will still go,
I will be sat under a tree.
You may miss me but please know,
I'll open that door and be free.
A sanctum of my creation,
A place with only joy and peace.
In my own secret location,
Eternally my masterpiece.
So do not be sad, do not weep,
I'll be happy on my lonesome.
Accept myself as a black sheep,
In beauty you cannot fathom.
