The ghost who never dies
Putting the soul on fire
Burning all thoughts of desire
Looking at my ashes just i admire
Everything is illusion one aspire
Ashes that hold nothing
Every breath taken away something
At end of road it was everything
Was journey of expression,so soothing
The ghost with all insight
Spirit can't express with its might
Wandering beyond limitations of wrong and right
I am the spirit the ghost 👻 shining bright
Life can burn body not essence in fire
It can burry all expectations and desire
Storms Blow away the *** we perspire
As ashes washed by ganges , Tears I don't require
@Bestwillow45 I love how your lines drift like smoke, rising and fading into the air. It reads as purification... the fire doesn’t end the soul but it clears away the weight of desire and expectation. There’s something quietly triumphant in that. I agree with Amanda—there’s a mystery and something spiritual about this poem. And the Ganges—do you mean the river?
