for not all burdens are laid bare.
a mask can hide but not erase,

I cried because this resonated.
I've been there.
I know the heaviness of carrying it.
The pretence.
The exhaustion.
The sadness.
The actions, the smile, they all come easily, now they are like an armour, you cannot wait until the day comes when you are no longer pretending.
