I wrote a limerick 🤗 Title: Apology

In the soft wind, the hyacinths flutter,

Cold dew on my hand, with surprise I utter.

Regret surfaces, a sorrow precise,

As I ponder their impending demise.

Forgive me, I mutter.

A token from my creative writing class! Hope you guys like it! 😊

@notafraidtospeak

It was a pleasure to read. Poetic not just in form but in intent also, as the narrator contemplates the flowers transience (perhaps intending to pick them or already doing so?). It could also be interpreted  as a wider analogy for mortality and the sadness we feel observing it unfold before us.

Nicely done.

Absolutely love how you have interpreted the essence of the poem!

I wanted to write about regret, and what better way than writing about nature!

Thank you so much for reading! 🤗
