Psychic Wound
This is my first poem, so please be kind. :) I had a bad ptsd day, so this was cathartic to write.
Rudeness, pain, insane, explain it to me, without crudeness, just plain.
Not being seen, not being understood, a chaos of mind body and soul,
because it seems to me I am losing control,
searching for meaning, where there is none,
so there is no other choice but to come undone.
Trying to keep my sanity, where others refuse to let go of madness,
where all the world is filled with such sadness,
hiding behind good intentions,
yet I long for redemption,
for change,
for a ray of hope,
not for rage,
not for display of "it's just a joke"
Seeking for a natural connection,
where there is such a lack of introspection,
yearning for a loving look,
for a hug,
instead I get a cutting hook,
a drug.
What else is there, but to numb myself into oblivion,
because the whole world seems so darwinian...
And do I have a place in this fallen paradise?
Because I am completely paralyzed,
stuck in a limbo of knowing, yet never receiving,
tired of growing and of re-living
same old, same old, never gets old,
society is just so cold...

@BelovedMe
This so kind of you. It feels very validating to be seen and appreciated, this means a lot to me. Indeed, this came from a dark and raw place, a part of me that rarely gets the chance to speak, but I am working on giving her a voice. Thank you for writing this. I feel motivated to keep expressing myself.
@mayawolf12 “I am just an admirer of true beauty 🌹 and pieces of your poem made me feel the true beauty of the character you hide from the rest of the world 🌎! I hope one day I can see the whole you in your poem 📝! Waiting for that day ⏳.”till then keep writing!

@mayawolf12
hey your poem is great🤍 I wrote something getting inspired by yours hope u like it
In shades of crimson, pain does reign,
A silent storm, a lingering stain.
Like petals wilting in the rain,
Redness whispers of an unseen chain.
A gentle touch, a tender sigh,
Yet beneath the surface, a silent cry.
Emotions tangled, hearts in strain,
In the realm where redness and pain remain.
Each scar a story, each hue a tale,
Of battles fought, of ships set sail.
Yet in the midst of this crimson sea,
Hope whispers softly, calling to be free.
So let us embrace the redness and pain,
For in its depths, resilience we gain.
With each tender word, each gentle refrain,
We find solace in the midst of the strain.
